Graphic Design Intern
Ready, Set, Graduate! That college finish line is just around the corner; all you need now is a killer internship to seal the deal. Sole Technology is looking for ambitious and driven college students to work for a three month period (start date is flexible) in our Visual Communications Department as a Graphic Design Intern. So if you want to pick up some stellar tricks of the trade from one of the hottest companies in the action sports industry, then stop what you’re doing and apply today. Responsibilities
- Layout and design of catalogues
- Consumer flyers – help design and layout.
- Print ads: assist with edits and learn magazine formats.
- Website: learn how to develop and create web banners and animated gifs.
- P.O.P.: learn how to design and develop in-store items.
- Print collateral: assist and develop ancillary projects such as posters, flyers and other print items.
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled at a school partnered with Sole Technology, Inc.
- Must be currently enrolled at an institute of higher education.
- Must be a Junior or Senior level status.
- Must receive school credit for internship.
- Strong, quick, & creative Graphic Designers with lots of fresh new ideas and ability to execute projects with the assistance and training from an Art Director.
- 1-2 years design experience and education.
- Fluent in CS3 InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Knowledge of MS Office and the use of email.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Great interpersonal, team building & relationship management skills.
- Eagerness to learn.
